LIABILITY 

Lorna Jane Pty Ltd does not accept liability for any loss or damages caused by this website, or any website linked to this website. 

Lorna Jane Pty Ltd Reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order at any time without giving reason. We will make all reasonable effort to contact the customer using the details provided and all received monies will be refunded using the method received.

ORDERING METHOD

Lorna Jane websites (including www.lornajane.com.au and www.lornajane.com) offer on-line purchasing. Orders via phone, fax or email will not be accepted.

CURRENCY USED

On the Australian website (www.lornajane.com.au) the nominated currency used for all transactions is Australian Dollars (AUD$).

All prices displayed on the Australia website (www.lornajane.com.au) will be in AUD$ and be inclusive of GST (Australian domestic Goods and Services Tax).

GST (Australian domestic Goods and Services Tax).

All Australian domestic customers and deliveries sent to Australian delivery addresses from the Australian Website (www.lornajane.com.au) will be subject to Australian GST.

The rate of Australian GST is 10%.

When Australian goods are exported (sent to a delivery address outside Australia) then the GST component of the price will be removed and the export price will be exclusive of GST.

SHIPPING RATES   

Lorna Jane will publish or display the current shipping rates on the websites as applicable.

Shipping rates may vary or be waived as part of promotions or sales on the website and the part or fully discounted shipping may cease at any time at the discretion of Lorna Jane.

Lorna Jane reserves the right to change any or all of the following, at any time:

-Shipping rates charged to any destination;

-Delivery method;

-Carrier or shipping provider.

SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA

Online orders for delivery within Australia are normally dispatched via Australia Post E-Parcel Express and usually arrive within 1- 3 business days from dispatch.

Standard Shipping rates for deliveries within Australia are:

A flat Shipping Rate of AUD$10 applies to all Australian deliveries of purchased goods of AUD$150 and under. This shipping charge is based on a 2kg weighted bag; therefore if your order exceeds the 2kg weight a customer care representative will contact you regarding the variance that you will be required to pay before the parcel is dispatched.

Standard Shipping is free for orders over AUD$150 in purchased goods when delivered to addresses within Australia.

Universal Gift Cards are financial instruments, which are provided as a free service.  Therefore Lorna Jane does not consider Gift Cards as goods and they do not contribute towards the calculation of free shipping within Australia.

SHIPPING WITHIN NEW ZEALAND

Online orders for delivery to New Zealand are dispatched via DHL and should usually arrive within 2-5 business days from dispatch.  DHL are not able to deliver to PO Box addresses, when placing your order please provide a physical postal address. 

Standard Shipping rates for delivery with New Zealand are:

A flat Shipping Rate of AUD$10 applies to all New Zealand deliveries AUD$150 of purchased goods and under. This shipping charge is based on a 2kg weighted bag; therefore if your order exceeds the 2kg weight a customer care representative will contact you regarding the variance that you will be required to pay before the parcel is dispatched.

Shipping is free for orders over AUD$150 in purchased goods when delivered to addresses within New Zealand.

By confirming a purchase you are accepting responsibility for all Customs Charges incurred.  You will be importing goods into New Zealand. Lorna Jane wishes to remind you that as the importer of goods you are legally responsible for any and all taxes, duties, and charges by the New Zealand Government. 

Lorna Jane does not have any control over customs charges and are unable to advise what they will be, as it is based on your own countries regulations and compliances.  If you are concerned about what charges you may be liable for, please check with your local customs office before proceeding to checkout.  All charges are to be paid by the customer on delivery of order. Under no circumstance will Lorna Jane accept any orders back due to rejection of customs charges.  Orders cannot be returned to sender.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Lorna Jane ships to most* destinations around the world via DHL and should usually arrive within 3-5 business days from dispatch.  DHL are not able to deliver to PO Box addresses, when placing your order please provide a physical postal address.

Orders should normally arrive within 3-5 business days from dispatch.

Lorna Jane does not accept any responsibility for customs delays, duties or taxes that may apply in the destination country.

International customers will need to check with their local customs office in regard to what, if any, duty you may be liable for when the order arrives.

The Standard Shipping Rate to all international destinations (excluding USA, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico) and is a flat rate of AUD$20 per order.  Please note this is transport costs only and does not cover any import liabilities that may be applied by the Government of the destination country. This shipping charge is based on a 2kg weighted bag; therefore if your order exceeds the 2kg weight a customer care representative will contact you regarding the variance that you will be required to pay before the parcel is dispatched.

The Standard Shipping Rate to USA, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico is a flat rate of AUD$75 per order.  Please note this is transport costs only and does not cover any import liabilities that may be applied by the Government of the destination country.

* DHL Exclusion countries are Ascension, Bouvet Island, British Indian Ocean Territory, French Southern Territories, Heard & McDonald Islands, Johnston Island, Midway Island, Pitcairn, Russia, Tokelau, Tristan Da Cunha, Turkmenistan, Wake Island and Western Sahara.  These countries orders will be sent by airmail.  No tracking service is available to these destinations.  Please allow up to 30 days for delivery of your order, Lorna Jane does not accept any responsibility for customs delays, duties or taxes that may apply in the destination country. The Standard Shipping Rate to all international destinations is a flat rate of AUD$20 per order. Please note this is transport costs only and does not cover any import liabilities that may be applied by the Government of the destination country.   

DISPATCH OF ORDERS

Orders are normally dispatched within 1-3 business days of Order Confirmation subject to all ordered items being in stock.

Lorna Jane will endeavor to search in store for styles if they are not available in the online store warehouse. 

If any items cannot be fulfilled from your order we will contact you via email.

ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS

On receiving the order the customer is responsible for inspecting the goods for fault or damage. 

Should the items ordered not be of acceptable quality, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify Lorna Jane Pty Ltd, as soon as possible. Please see Returns & Exchanges Policy for more information.

PRICING

Lorna Jane Pty Ltd reserves the right to change prices without notice. 

All prices and orders are displayed and processed in Australia Dollars (AUD) and will include Goods and Services Tax (10% GST) for all orders being delivered within Australia.

Customers having orders delivered outside Australia are exporting the goods and therefore shall not subject to the GST and this component will be removed automatically prior to final calculation for payment.

GIFT CARDS

Lorna Jane may from time to time make Gift Cards available on the website.

Gift Cards when issued may be used both online via the Lorna Jane Website in the country of issue or within any of the Lorna Jane company owned retails stores within the country of purchase.

Gift Cards are treated by Lorna Jane as a financial instrument for payment for goods and services and operate on a deposit/withdrawal system as per industry standard practices.  This means that Lorna Jane Gift Cards are provided as a free service to customers and do not constitute a purchase of goods and do not contribute toward the calculation of shipping costs or discounts.  

Lorna Jane Gift Cards are not considered as goods or services with a retail price and therefore:

-They do not include GST;

-They cannot be discounted and are not subject to any discounts.

Lorna Jane strives to ensure that you are satisfied. We want you to love and enjoy your Lorna Jane purchase. If something isn’t quite right, please let us know. 
Instore Returns

What if I simply changed my mind on products I purchased in a Lorna Jane Store?

If for any reason you decide that you no longer want an item purchased from Lorna Jane, simply return it to us within 14 days of purchase and we will gladly offer you a gift voucher or exchange (your choice) equal to the amount paid for the goods (except for any personal care merchandise). It is important however that the item(s) and any packaging and ticketing which the goods may have come in/with, are in the same condition as when they left the Lorna Jane store. It is also important that you have a proof of purchase of the goods, clearly identifying that the goods were purchased from a Lorna Jane retail store. If either of these 2 conditions are not met, we will unfortunately not be able to provide you with a gift voucher or exchange unless the item(s) are faulty. 

If you change your mind on any purchases labelled as ‘final sale’, including Lorna Jane Warehouse sales, we will unfortunately not be able to provide you with a credit or exchange unless the item(s) are faulty.

It is also very important to note that if you purchased goods that were clearly identified as faulty, defective or marked in any way and the reason the goods were faulty, defective or marked in any way was specifically drawn to your attention at time of purchase by a written notice displayed with the goods (including samples and seconds), the respective defect or mark will be discounted when considering whether or not the product is faulty.

Credits or exchanges will not be provided for change of mind for any personal care merchandise (such as lip balms, body scrub, intimate clothing etc.) unless the products are faulty. 

Online Returns

If you opt for a refund, this will be processed via the payment method used at the time of purchase. For all change of mind purchases, you are able to return your items to your local Lorna Jane retail store for an exchange or gift voucher only. It is important however that the item(s) and any packaging and ticketing which the goods may have come in/with, are in the same condition as when they left the Lorna Jane warehouse. It is also important that you have a proof of purchase of the goods, clearly identifying that the goods were purchased from www.lornajane.com.au. If either of these 2 conditions are not met, we will unfortunately not be able to provide you with a refund, credit or exchange unless the item(s) are faulty.

Return and exchange procedure
To obtain an exchange or return online, the items must be returned with a completed “Exchange and Return Form”, situated on the reverse side of the invoice. To obtain a copy of this form, please click here.

PLEASE NOTE:
Lorna Jane will not be held responsible if there is a delay in delivery
Customers will be responsible for the return shipping and handling charges
You will need to send the original or a copy of your invoice with your order
In the event that your product is lost in transit, Lorna Jane will not be held liable and therefore recommends that you send all returns via Registered Post 
We ask that you allow 7 business days from the day you return our package for your account to be credited

Return of Gift with Purchase or Promotional Items

Should you qualify for a Gift with Purchase upon meeting minimum spend requirements, and you change your mind and your order is returned for a refund or gift voucher, the Gift with Purchase item must also be returned unworn and in original condition, with all tags intact; otherwise the full retail price will be deducted from the refunded amount. 

There is no exchange on Gift with Purchase items and/or Promotional Products unless the item(s) are faulty. Gift with Purchase items are subject to availability. Subject to any rights you may have at law, they cannot be exchanged, refunded or substituted for change of mind. Gift with purchases cannot be redeemed for cash and are only available at time of purchase. 

David Jones and External Stockists

Lorna Jane products purchased through David Jones or external stockists, are in accordance with the David Jones or individual stockists purchase policy, and as such purchased products can only be returned to their original place of purchase.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders can not be cancelled or amended once placed and you have received your order confirmation. Please follow the returns and exchange process if you wish to make changes to your order.

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, Lorna Jane Pty Ltd reserves the right to withdraw an item from sale, and to refuse or cancel orders.

Lorna Jane Pty Ltd will make all reasonable effort to contact the customer using the details provided and all received monies will be refunded using the method received.  This means that the credit card used to purchase the goods would be the destination of any credit that may be applicable.
