Tanks
Lorna Jane's women's tank tops and gym singlets come in fitted rib, knit and active styles. Some are breathable cotton-blend rib, others move sweat off your skin, and there's a real mix of backs and necklines. You'll also find racerback singlets, sports tanks, muscle tanks and tanks with a built-in bra.
Some of our ribbed tank tops use a cotton blend, with a subtle texture and four-way stretch. Our Never Give Up tank is your everyday cotton tank top: 96% cotton, 4% elastane, cut slim and full length. A few of our rib tanks blend cotton with polyester. There are knit tank tops too, from mid-length viscose to longline linen and cotton. For sweaty sessions, go for Liberty. The fabric's 81% nylon and 19% Lycra elastane, and it moves sweat off your skin and dries fast.
Check the back first when you're working out what to wear underneath. Some of our racerback tank tops leave the shoulder blades clear, while other racerback singlets are cut to cover most bras. For more coverage at the back, look for a high back. Some of our tanks pair one with a plunge front, so you can layer them over most bras. If you'd rather keep your sports bras out of sight, our Replay Knit tank has a filled-in back that covers most of them. Up front, you'll find V-necks, plunge fronts and scoop necks.
Choosing a gym tank top or sports singlet really comes down to two things: fabric and back. Sweaty sessions call for fabric that moves sweat off your skin and dries fast. Then check how the back sits over your bra.
Some Lorna Jane gym singlets are sweat-wicking. Styles made from our Liberty fabric move sweat off your skin and dry quickly, while some of our cotton-blend rib styles are lightweight and breathable.
Lorna Jane tank tops come in full-length, mid-length and longline cuts. Some of our rib tanks are full length, while our knit tanks run from mid length to longline. Each product page lists the length for that style.
Yes, you can wear several Lorna Jane tank tops in and out of the gym. Our knit styles are made for active and everyday styling, and some of our rib tanks pair with wide-leg pants.
Wash your tank top in cold water with the same colours, then air or line dry it in the shade rather than using the tumble dryer. A wash bag is a good idea too. We tailor the washing instructions to suit individual products, so please refer to the label for more detail on how to care for your new Lorna Jane activewear.
