At Lorna Jane, we understand the critical importance of water conservation in the textile industry, especially in the production processes. Our efforts in water management have already led to significant achievements, and we are committed to further reducing our water footprint.

What We've Achieved

Wastewater Treatment and Reuse: We have implemented advanced wastewater treatment systems, allowing us to recycle and reuse a substantial portion of the water in our production processes. For example, in 2023, we successfully reused 545,316 tons of water, increasing the water reuse rate in our dyeing facilities from 40.4% to over 50%.

Innovative Dyeing Technology: We have installed low liquor ratio dyeing machines equipped with high-temperature liquid discharge systems. This technology has significantly reduced water consumption per batch, contributing to both water and energy savings.

Where We're Focusing Next

Expanding Water Reuse: We are planning to further expand our wastewater treatment capacity by 2024, with the goal of increasing water reuse and reducing freshwater consumption across our operations.

Continuous Improvement: Our commitment to sustainability drives us to continuously seek out and implement innovative technologies that enhance water efficiency. We aim to integrate these practices throughout our supply chain, ensuring that our impact on water resources is minimised.
